The grand reopening of our terrace at AMRIT in Mitte
Good things come to those who wait…

When the restaurants were closed again in November due to the pandemic, creativity took over. While brainstorming on how to bridge the closure this time, ideas kept flowing: an “Urban Jungle” in the heart of Berlin with a living wall, a fountain, new design elements, and perhaps even a brand-new roof with sustainable energy consumption?

…and it’s finally paying off!

And here it is: after nearly 7 months of hard work, renovations, painting, cleaning, and decorating, we are finally able to complete our project and, with the reopening of our restaurants, introduce our URBAN JUNGLE.

In summer and winter

The building itself shines in new splendor. The carpet is gone, and the new gray tiles give our summer and winter garden a factory look, further enhanced by the new heating system and wall color. The garden will no longer be closed twice a year for extensive renovations, as in the future, the roof and windows can be fully opened and closed within 3 minutes, depending on the weather. Whether summer or winter – the garden for relaxation remains, and dining under the open sky is guaranteed!

We’ll see you soon – (in accordance with the COVID-19 regulations).

We’re eagerly looking forward to the reopening and can’t wait to see you all soon. The safety measures set by the state government to control the pandemic will remain in place.
